Our clients had clear ideas of how they wanted their living area. A high vaulted ceilings, an open fireplace with a large sunroom all encompass the amazing views over the countryside to the South.
The property was finished with some unique detailing and special finishes.
Various bespoke cupboards and wardrobes were manufactured in our workshop, to be fitted during second fix.
The original paddock was levelled to create an extensive landscaped garden and driveway.
THE ENQUIRY
We knew the clients from a Networking group we used to participate in and struck up a good understanding of what they were looking for. We soon put budget figures together and agreed the concept.
THE BRIEF
To construct offsite a structurally insulated panel system for a single story dwelling as a long term, low maintenance energy efficient home on their existing plot.
COSTING AND PLANNING
The structural approach was mutually agreed between the client and the structural engineer.
